Feel Alive and Reconnect with Nature

For farmers, nature is not “something far away, in the great outdoors”. Farmers consider themselves as part of nature. The elements are inevitably shaping their livelihood. For them, nature is a great gift. It goes without saying that one has to accept its laws and limits. Let’s take rain, for example. Sometimes (and especially for guests), rain is inconvenient, perhaps annoying. Too much of it can even destroy the harvest. But most of the time, it’s a great joy for farmers to see the rain coming. After all, water is vital to all life on Earth. And it’s the same with sun or snow. Farmers know one important thing: You need to accept all facets of nature in order to comprehend its glory.
