It’s up to you, how much exercise you’d like to take during your fitness break. In a lot of places, smaller mountain peaks or demanding ascents invite you to go snowshoeing or ski touring - the perfect slope to ski down is included. Cross-Country Skiing
The sun is sparkling on the freshly fallen snow, the air is freezing cold: perfect conditions for cross-country skiing! Grab your skis and let’s go the perfectly groomed ski track nearby.
Thanks to their idyllic setting, a lot of farms in Austria are the ideal starting point if you’d like to explore the snowy surroundings on your cross-country skis. At the same time, you’re strengthening your muscles and burning calories. After your workout, you’ve deserved a hearty snack on the farm.

Performing spins on the ice is great fun for parents and kids alike. If you feel unbalanced on your ice skates, no worries. Have you ever tried ice stock sport? This is a funny winter sport similar to boccia and a popular family pastime. The farmer’s wife has prepared some hot punch to warm you up after the game. And the cosy living room is waiting for you.
Pure Indulgence on the Farm
The sun is about to set. You’ve done a lot of exercise today and now, you’re exhausted. Is your stomach growling? What a great feeling it is to come home to the farm you’re staying in. A heavenly silence, a cup of good herbal tea or some hot punch await you. Sit down on the bench and let the tiled stove warm you up. The pleasant scent of wood and herbs wafts towards you.
