Charging Stations with a View
Travelling to the Farm with an Electric Car
Yes, it’s true. A lot of farms are located in a secluded location, surrounded by nature only, spectacular views included. Where on earth are you supposed to find a charging station for your electric car? Well, right here! A lot of people don’t know that the number of farms providing an EV charging station is steadily growing. And there’s a very special detail: a lot of these charging stations are fuelled with energy from the farmers’ private solar, wind or hydroelectric power station. That’s the ideal combination of environmental protection, independence and innovation.
By the way, you can also spend a night on Austria’s first energy self-sufficient farm. Read more about the winners of the 2021 innovation award granted by our national association “Farm Holidays in Austria”.
