Lake Neusiedl
A harmonious blend of nature, fine dining and culture is characteristic for the region surrounding Lake Neusiedl. Winemaker Sepp welcomes you with a glass of wine, fresh and cold. The young guests get a cherry lemonade that’s produced here, in the region. In the evening, when you take your bikes out and go to the shores of Lake Neusiedl, you should pin back your ears - the sound of reed shaken by the wind is absolutely magical! Take a seat on the picnic blanket in the vineyard. Sample local delicacies that were grown here, right where you’re sitting. Enjoy a delightful evening on holiday!
Central Burgenland
Have you always dreamed of helping harvest the grain? Central Burgenland is the ideal spot to be part of it. Very special types of grain such as einkorn, spelt wheats and emmer are grown here. After the work has been done, you can chill out on the lush, green meadow with a glass of the most typical wine in this region, the Blaufränkisch (blue Frankish). The eye catchers in Central Burgenland (also known as “the land of Blaufränkisch”) are not only the yellow grain fields but also the historical villages surrounded by vineyards. Stop by and taste one of the great wines that are produced here.
Southern Burgenland
Are you looking for a place to relax and fully unwind? If so, Southern Burgenland is the place to be! Here, far away from the crowds, you can soak up the pristine scenery and indulge in natural, locally grown food in the farmhouses. Discover a great many of hidden gems on an e-bike tour. Visit winegrower Eva and taste a glass of the most typical wine here in Southern Burgenland, the Uhudler.
