In summer, you should absolutely plan to cycle or hike past one of the small but delightful lakes and have a swim. The lakes Längsee, Hörzendorfersee, Urbansee, Goggausee or Kraigersee are perfectly refreshing with crystal-clear water that’s safe to drink.
In winter, the two small but lovely family-friendly ski resorts “Simonhöhe”, “Eberstein/Saualpe” are the ideal destinations for collecting unforgettable memories in the snow. Sledging up the hill, walking in the winter wonderland, cross-country skiing, alpine skiing or ice skating on one of the frozen lakes - everything’s possible during a winter holiday here!
