Graz provides a huge diversity in a relatively small area. Shopping in Graz
Graz is a great city for shopping. It’s especially charming to stroll through the historic centre. This way, you can combine shopping with a sightseeing tour. The main street is called “Herrengasse”. It’s a pedestrian zone. But you should also explore the alleyways and discover small, creative shops. It’s worth it!
The district Lend with the square “Lendplatz” and the street “Mariahilferstraße” is a creative hot spot featuring a great number of design shops.

Region of Graz
There’s plenty of things to discover in the region of Graz. Go out of the city and hit the countryside! We recommend hiking on the Schöckl on the outskirts of the city. You can also take the cable car up there. The ravine “Kesselfallklamm” features an impressive, roaring mountain stream. In the karst cave “Lurgrotte”, you’ll enter a fascinating underground world. Get an insight into the daily life and work of farmers and peasants as it used to be in the open-air museum in Stübing. Modern art is at the heart of the sculpture park in Unterpremstätten.
